Court says no to EQC's request to get a copy of the funding agreement

EQC have been requesting to have a copy of the funding agreement for many months. They say they needed it to cross-check it with the proposed notice to potential class members.  In his judgment of 9 November 2022, Associate Judge Lester says that EQC has no right to a copy of the funding agreement.

EQC also sought to be able to continue to settle On-sold scheme applicants, even though the Court had already told them that they could!
